Adorn Dance Policies

Registration & Tuition​

Our annual registration fee is only $25. Our dance year begins in September.

Tuition is determined by how many classes a student will take each week.

The registration fee and tuition are both non-refundable.

Tuition is transferrable at the discretion of the Directors.
Dance Etiquette

All dancers should arrive on time to their scheduled class or lesson. Arriving late is harmful to the dancer because it hurries the body into vigorous exercise without a proper warm up.

Dancers will not be allowed to participate in class without first warming up and stretching.

At no time should a student enter the learning environment with a cell phone, food, drink, or chewing gum.

Parents are not permitted to sit in the classroom during instruction, unless invited by the instructor. The reason behind this is to minimize the number of distractions during the lesson time.

All students waiting for rides need to wait inside the school. For their safety, dancers are required to wear cover-ups when entering or exiting the building.
Dance Attire

Each dance style has a specific dress code. Anything other than the required attire must be cleared by the instructor before the class begins.

Dancers should wear undergarments that fit snugly and supply adequate support for jumping movements and so on.

Shoes for each class should be chosen depending on the style of dance being taught. (As an example Ballet students will wear only ballet shoes during class and students in Tap will wear tap shoes.)

Please do not wear dance shoes outside the dance room or to and from the car. Dance shoes will last longer if they are not worn outside and dancers will not track dirt inside the studio.

A dancer's hair is a part of their dress code. Hair should always be pulled back and out of their faces during class and rehearsals, unless instructed otherwise.

Jewelry, other than stud earrings, should not be worn and will not be permitted. No exceptions.
"We have a strict policy against bare chest, bare bellies and bare legs. All Adorn dancers, ages 2-17, must adhere to this."
